After rescuing Inirva, you manage to bring back the Dancing Wave to Waterdeep with a skeleton crew that Osk Thunderhale lends you.

Inirva is grateful for her rescue and after the group gives her the letter from her niece, she offers free passage on her ship if the group ever needs it.

Markham Southwell's Quest: Seek a moon elf druid named Aerglas in the Shadowtop Cathedral who has fought giants and may have information on them as well as more info on the Tree Ghost tribe.

Augrek Brighthelm's Quest: She gives the party a letter of recommendation if they find themselves at the dwarven Citadel Felbarr. The King and Queen may have a use for the party.

Sir Baric Nylef – Check with his friend Sir Lanniver Strayl in Helm's Hold to let him know Sir Baric is okay and update him on the Weevil's location

The Siege of Brynn Shander

After the party arrives at Brynn Shander, they locate Sheriff Markham and inform him of his sister's death. The party has little time to relax, as a group of 12 Frost Giants led by the giantess Drufi lay siege on the town looking for Artus Cimber. The town has 10 minutes to turn him over before the giants attack. The party figures out that Artus' blood in the form of his son Sirac is what brought the giants to Brynn Shander. After a plot to trick the giants goes awry, the giants attack. The party guards the southwest gate against Drufi, her two winter wolvesm and two body guards as they try to smash down the town gate. After a harrowing battle. The party is successful and the destruction on the town is halted.

  • Giant crown with 17 100 gp rubies
  • Adamantine Armor – Chainmail (AC 16, weight 55 lbs, disadvantage on stealth, all critical hits become normal against wearer)

Sirac's Quest: Escort Sirac to Waterdeep and find out info on his father. Contact Lord Zeluran Roaringhorn in Waterdeep for more info.

Duvessa Shane's quest: Duvessa gives the party a letter to her aunt Inirva Coldwater in Waterdeep. The letter asks her aunt to let the party use her ship The Dancing Wave and crew for any travel up and down the Sword coast. 

Markham Southwell's Quest: Seek a moon elf druid named Aerglas in the Shadowtop Cathedral who has fought giants and may have information on them as well as more info on the Tree Ghost tribe.

To Brynn Shander

The party along with the newest member, Balzur the Moon Elf Necromancer, travel to Brynn Shander with Zephyrous in his cloud tower. Their mission is to let Sherrif Markham know that his sister has died in the cloud giant bombardment of Nightstone. Along the way, the party encounters members of the Howling Hatred who want Zephyrous to join their cult. After the party vanquishes the cult, Felgolos makes a reappearance and asks for assistance freeing slaves imprisoned on a Zhent caravan.  The caravan turns out to be an ambush to kill Felgolos, but with strange luck and focused skill the party defeats the Zhent dwarves.

The Battle for Nightstone
and the hunt for the missing villagers.

As Francisco, Monshin, and Tabius face off against Xolkin, Kella, and the Zhentarim bandits, three new heroes appear before the advancing green horde. Gandor the dwarven fighter, Nimue the water genasi priest of Torm, and Balfour the earth genasi paladin of Torm enter Nightstone right before the orc warparty advances. 

An uneasy alliance between the heroes and the Zhents forms in the face of the overwhelming orc forces. As the warlord of the orcs calls for the drawbridge to be lowered, the heroes began to prepare for battle. 

Balfour rouses the remaining Nightstone guards with an impassioned speech and healing magic while and Gandor arms them with crossbows, flaming oil, and words of wisdom. The mercenary skills of Gandor and the soldiering experience of Balfour combine to turn the town guards and the Zhent bandits into an orc killing force. The orcs fall quickly to the bolts of the town protectors. The teamwork of Nimue's faith and Tabius' deadly aim wreaks havoc on the orc warlord, and Tabius finishes him off with a well placed shot to the head.

With the fall of the warlord, the remaining orc's morale breaks and they flee into the woods. 

The Zhentarum agents press their claim on the town, but the valor of the heroes and the embolden guards convince Xolkin to move onto easier prey at the threatening words form Balfour.

The old and new companions quickly move to the dripping caves to search for the missing villagers. Outside the cave, Monshin detects the presence of goblins, and concludes this is where the goblin bandits ransacking the town came from. Surreptitious scouting of the cave's entrance by Tabius and Balfour reveal a few goblin guards and an ogre in a mudbath. 

Monshin devises a plan to trick the ogre, but the goblins are actually too stupid to follow his ingenious trick.  After a quick battle with the goblins and a mated ogre pair, the companions search the cave. Nimue uses her natural ability and searched the undergroud river, but not finding the villagers. Eventually the companions find Hark the goblin leader, his goblin bodyguards, and seven giant rats. Negotiations quickly devolve into a battle, and the companions face their most deadly foe to date: giant rats.  The companions vanquish the deadly rats and the body guards while Hark tries to make his escape. Monshin quickly captures him and meanwhile the companions find the remaining missing villagers. The companions agree to give Hark over to the villagers, who quickly feed him to the ever ravenous black pudding living in an unused part of the cave complex. 

Returning to Nightstone with the missing villagers, the companions are hailed as heroes. Celebrations quickly abate as a giant white tower, topped by an oversized wizards hat and supported by nothing but a cloud, descends from the sky just outside of the town's drawbridge. The unusual tower's front door opens to reveal a cloud giant, balding and bearded, who exclaims "Well this town has been quite devastated!"
